Promising an app is safe is easy. Saying what gets checked, who checks it and when it gets checked again is what can be verified.
First, that she is who she says she is
Her national ID is uploaded on both sides and compared against a selfie taken at that moment, not a photo from the gallery. A person on our team reviews the result; the machine proposes, the person decides.
If the name on the ID doesn't match the licence, the application stops there.
Then, that she can legally drive that car
A valid licence of the right class, vehicle registration in her name or authorised by the owner, and an up-to-date technical inspection. For the car we ask for photos of all four sides and the plate.
Expiry dates are stored. As a licence or registration nears its date, the driver is warned — and if it lapses, she stops receiving rides until she renews.
If the car that arrives doesn't match the app, don't get in. Cancelling for that never penalises you.
Verification isn't only day one
Before opening a shift, the driver takes a selfie that is matched against the one on file. That's what stops a verified account from being driven by someone else — the case that worries us most, because it is invisible from the back seat.
And it continues after every ride
Your stars, your tags and what you write build up on her profile. It isn't decorative: a sustained drop in rating opens a review, and some report reasons open one immediately, the very first time.
When you rate, she reads what you wrote. That's why the field asks for a sentence, not a form.
