Terms and conditions

In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of the Berlina app and service. By creating an account or requesting a ride you accept these conditions.
Who can use Berlina
Berlina is a ride service designed for women. To use it you must be of legal age, register truthful details and keep your account under your exclusive control. Drivers must also complete identity, document and vehicle verification.
Requests and rides
Requests are assigned by availability and proximity. The route, the estimated fare and the driver’s details are shown before and during the ride. Repeated cancellations or misuse of the service may limit your account.
Fares and payments
The fare is calculated by distance, time and demand, and is shown as an estimate before you confirm. Payments are processed through our payment provider; Berlina does not store full card numbers.
Safety and respect
Respect between passengers and drivers is a condition of use. Harassment, violence, fraud and offensive language are forbidden on every channel, including the ride chat. You can report and block another person from the app; reports are reviewed and may lead to suspension or deletion of the offending account.
Privacy
How we process your personal data is described in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the community at risk. You can close your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account or from the account deletion page.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change substantially we will let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
