We verify every driver and give you everything to confirm that this is your ride.

Verified background and biometrics

No driver goes out on the road without identity, document and background verification.

Confirmation code before you get in

Your ride has a four-digit code. You tell it to your driver and confirm that this is your ride and your car.

Real photo and video of the car

Before getting in you see a real photo of the side of the car picking you up and the verification video your driver recorded.

Cabin safety photo

At the start of the ride, the app may ask for a cabin photo to count visible faces. It attempts to send the photo encrypted to Berlina as safety evidence.

SOS with your location

When you activate it, the Berlina team and the trusted contacts who already confirmed receive your alert and your exact location within seconds.

Automatic route deviation alert

If the car strays far from the route or makes an unusual stop, the app detects it and sends an alert without you doing anything.

Trusted contacts

Up to three people can follow your ride live and receive your alerts. Each one gets a code by email and has to confirm it: only then do the alerts start reaching them.

Code words and silent alert

Agree on code words with your contacts or use a phrase in the chat: you ask for help without anyone noticing.

Silent voice

If you enable this option, the app attempts to recognise your code phrase to trigger an SOS by voice. This feature is separate from the ride’s safety audio recording.

Ride safety audio

With microphone permission, the app attempts to record safety audio automatically. It keeps it on your phone and may send it encrypted to Berlina with an SOS or a safety report.

Live Ride Sharing

Share a link and your contacts see the route, the plate and the ride status in real time, without installing the app.

Quiet mode

If you would rather not chat, choose it before or during the ride. Your driver respects it.

Night mode

Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the app strengthens the alerts and stays closer to you on every ride.

See how many women are riding with Berlina in your area and how many drivers are available near you.

After

The ride ends when we know you got home safe.

Home safe

When the ride ends, your confirmed contacts get a notice that you are home.
